PEPONITA PRODUCT CARE
Always store shoes away from light and heat and protect them from rain and humidity. When you are not wearing your Peponitas we recommend keeping them in the dust bags provided.
All Peponita shoes are made with 100% Italian leathers. These can last a very long time if they are regularly maintained and treated well. Use leather cleaner, such as saddle soap, and a soft, damp cloth to remove dirt and debris. Using a leather conditioner especially made for smooth leathers will help maintain the materials integrity and keep your shoes soft. Do not soak your shoes, however should they get wet stuff them with tissue and allow them to dry naturally.
Treat your suede shoes with a protective spray to help repel water and prevent stains. Should your suede shoes get wet, soak up excess moisture with a clean towel and allow them to dry naturally.
Pony Skin (which is actually calf hair) is a very delicate material and will eventually wear over time. To maintain your shoes appearance we recommend that you do not wear them in bad weather. If they get dirty you can wipe them smoothly in the direction of the hair with a damp cloth, mild soap and water. Do not soak them. You can also use protective sprays, same as you would for suede, but please check the instructions first.
All Peponita shoes have leather soles with injected rubber foreparts. The rubber soles help extend the life of the soles however leather will wear down eventually. Most good cobblers will be able to resole.
Make sure you weatherproof your shoes regularly. Most protective sprays are not intended for a one-time application and can be used as often.
Patent leather can be polished with glass cleaner.
Salt stains can be removed by rubbing them gently with a moist cloth.
We recommend trying on your Peponita shoes on a carpet or rug. Unfortunately we cannot accept any returns with scuffed or damaged soles.
Should you want to return your shoes for any reason you have 14 days to do so.
